Today's show combines poetry about New Year's Resolutions, those newly made, and those quickly broken, and Open Poetry taken from this week's Reading List. 
Our group, KindredVoices, can be found in All Poetry. Within our membership are those intrepid poets who have accepted my weird idea of "No Winners, ergo No Losers." This means we have no competitions, no awards, we simply enjoy the written word.

The theme for our show today is "Your favourite Poem in 2025." This allows you to turn the spotlight on a piece you enjoyed writing, or that conveyed a long-held conviction. There will also be some poetry taken from the group Reading List.

Welcome to our weird and hopefully wacky run-up-to- Christmas show. Share the moments that made you smile or squirm. Mine would be five minutes before the show was to start when my internet connection ceased to be! I mention this only to explain why I wasn't my usual suave and suffocated self. Sorry, sophisticated self.
This is also my last Podcast, as I am leaving AP, due to health reasons. It has been four years of happy, sad and exciting times.

This podcast is built around poetry submitted to a (Group Only) “Shine Your Light” Nocontest. Our group, based at All Poetry, is called DreamsUnexpected. This is a new venture by WeaverofDreams and Unexpected Bill, the ethos being that there are no winners, therefore no losers. We believe that within these parameters, our members can experiment, push boundaries, and feel secure doing so.
